A cover of the revered Aussie classic by the seminal pub rock band of the 70s, Avalanche—fronted by band member Steven Campbell’s father Adrian Campbell—Sweet Baby Brown Eyes showcases the band’s ambition and finesse.As band member Steven says about the new release, ‘Avalanche released the track in 1976.
During their short time together, they toured with AC/DC, appeared on Molly Meldrum’s Countdown, scored some billboard charting singles and more recently, they were even sampled by The Notorious B.I.G..’ Recorded at A Sharp Recording Studios under the guidance of Grammy-nominated and ARIA award-winning producer Steve James (Airbourne, Sex Pistols, The Angels, Cold Chisel), the new release from Avalanche stands as the band’s most audacious work to date.

Avalanche, comprising lead vocalist and bassist Steven Campbell and lead guitarist Veronica ‘V’ Campbell, alongside drummer and rhythm machine Ryan Roma (aka ‘ADHD’) and rhythm guitarist Arthur Divis, has shared the stage with notable acts like Kingswood and The Poor, and their music videos continue to draw thousands of viewers on YouTube.
