RUSTY GEAR - OUT AND RUNNIN ROUND

Rusty Gear has generated over 900,000 Spotify streams, with the country music artist enjoying quite a few success stories, including, Tequila Won't Solve Your Problems, Won’t Forget (#1 on Europe's Hotdisc Top 40) and Wondering Why(# 51 on Billboard’s Country Breakout Chart in the US).

Out And Runnin is the latest single from the American singer-songwriter, and what a track it is. As the opening lines state, Outside the centre city bypass, they roll the sidewalks up at night / It’s a short ride down to Southside, you come to drink and dance and fight.

The new track combines the heart-felt good-time feel of country with some sharp and poetic observations of life, music and where these two elements meet. Out And Runnin Round will undoubtedly repeat the success of Rusty’s two previous releases, Check in Check Out Blues, andIt’s Still You, which attracted a lot of attention from media and streaming sites.

The multi-talented songwriter, musician and performer’s new track is a fail-safe rocking blues smash featuring Rusty on vocals and slide guitar and esteemed musicians from the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, Clayton Ivey on keys, Ed Green on drums and David Hood on bass. The track also features the background vocals of Camille Rae from emerging US act Calamity Jane.

‘‘ Out And Runnin Round captures all the freewheeling joy and revelry of a devil-may-care night on the town, a stirring depiction of a carefree, easy-going night, containing all the essence of fun-filled abandon.

Produced by Tony Sarno, who also played guitar on the new release, Out And Runnin Round captures all the freewheeling joy and revelry of a devil-may-care night on the town, a stirring depiction of a carefree, easy-going night, containing all the essence of fun-filled abandon. As part of the lyric states, We got the fury and the sound its where we can be found / we got to take it when we can and listen to the band.

Out And Runnin Round is also about living in the moment, transcending the ever-present pressure of life for a singular event—a big night on the town with that quintessential of all American popular music styles, country, front and centre.
