Harry Cleverdon - Deserve Your Love

Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harry Cleverdon has just released his new track Deserve Your Love.

The new release is taken from his debut album Octothorpe. At just 18 he’s already achieved a great deal including winning the International Songwriting Competition for the people’s choice with his song Hit Me While I’m Down, sharing the stage with several huge names including Troy Cassar-Daley and Isaiah Firebrace, winning numerous national competitions including ‘Champion’ of the National Busking Championships and releasing a critically acclaimed EP in 2019 called From My Side Of The Stage.

Harry’s musical development from a six-year-old naturally gifted performer to the accomplished musical artist he has become today has seen his skills as a songwriter, vocalist and musician reach an incredible level. Harry’s latest release is a finely-crafted blend of moving lyrics, a touching vocal performance and strong memorable melodies.

Reminiscent of such artists as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Jason Mraz, Harry has taken this genre and made it his own. Deserve Your Love has a smooth and matured sound that highlights Harry’s expressive voice and ability to write gripping narratives. He is a natural-born storyteller and this track is a great example of this talent.

'One listen to this new release and audiences will understand why Harry Cleverdon is making such headway and in such a short period.'

Deserve Your Love is indicative of the rest of the material on Harry’s debut album; songs of quiet power that combine inventive and intelligent storylines that are beautifully blended to hooky and robust melodies, all performed with zeal, intensity and real passion.

One listen to this new release and audiences will understand why Harry Cleverdon is making such headway and in such a short period. With his streaming stats having already reached an astounding number - a quarter of a million - Harry’s new track is set to bolster these numbers and expand his profile and his fast-growing fan base, and deservedly so.
