Out September 12, the track sees the Melbourne/Naarm-based drummer, percussionist, and songwriter stepping into the spotlight with fearless energy, turning lived experience into dance-floor fire.

Built on Kat’s signature drum-driven foundations, Shoot Me Lover combines biting verses, funk-pop hooks, and percussive flourishes that hit with precision and playfulness. What begins with stripped-back swagger soon swells into a chorus both sweet and satirical — an irresistible rally against flattery, pressure, and the games people play.
