Ciaran Gribbin - Let's Change The World

In November 2011, Ciaran performed his first show with INXS in Peru in front of 7,000 people and two nights later in front of 30,000 people, headlining the Personal Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ciaran performed over 50 shows as INXS’ frontman. Two of the songs Ciaran co-wrote with Andrew Farris have been released by INXS: Tiny Summer andWe Are United, which was performed in Canberra at the Australia Day celebrations in January 2012 in front of a television audience of one million. But there’s more to the Northern Irish singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer than his affiliation with the Australian rock icons.

His new track Let’s Change the World follows a long history of amazing career highs. Ciaran’s first band Leya released a successful album and toured with bands such as Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand and Embrace. Ciaran also performed backing vocals on Snow Patrol’s album Eyes Open.

He has also collaborated/co-written with many big international names including Deadmau5 and Paul Oakenfold, with whom he co-wrote Madonna’s track Celebration, for which he received a Grammy nomination.

‘Ciaran’s incredibly nuanced vocal is as enticing as the melodies are irresistible, and despite the seemingly weighty focus of the song there is also contained within it a sense of fun and gentle abandon.’

Ciaran also toured with many artists including GotyePowderfingerThe Script and opened for Sir Paul McCartney at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park, London. Ciaran also wrote and produced soundtrack albums for the films Killing Bono and Heartless. His latest track, which follows the single from earlier this year, Hey Misery, is titled Let’s Change the World and is a brilliantly wrought example of folk-pop as its best.

Ciaran’s incredibly nuanced vocal is as enticing as the melodies are irresistible, and despite the seemingly weighty focus of the song there is also contained within it a sense of fun and gentle abandon.

The song and Ciaran’s performance attest to the level of experience that underpins it and he is sure to receive a lot of attention at radio and on all streaming platforms.
