Aussie outfit Vegas Sunset are set to release their cracking follow up single 'This Is The Moment'.
Following the tremendous success of their last single, Good Stuff, a record that was brimming with fun, exuberance and pure pop brilliance Vegas Sunset has followed that up with another slice of pop-rock heaven with This Is the Moment, a slightly edgier track but one that retains the group’s clever pop sensibilities and genre-mixing skills.
Vegas Sunset has been touring for a little while and their live show is renowned for its escapism; just the very kind of thing this new trackreflects. As Vegas Sunset has said about the song, ‘It’s about being at that point that you feel you’ve prepared and are ready for that next big step forward to reach your goal’.
This Is the Moment opens with a powerful and hypnotic drum feel, augmented by keys and synths which then evolve into the verses with their strong use of space and simplicity to evoke a sense of determination. The verse melodies are effective and aided by the guitar textures which add a sense of urgency to the track, the highlight of which is the chorus with its anthemic quality and relatable lyric.
